1. How do I book a shoot with World Through Lens?

You can either choose a package from our website or request a custom package.

Once the package is finalized, you need to block your preferred dates.

After confirming the date, we provide a payment receipt, and your dates are reserved in our calendar.
2. What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy?

The booking fee is non-refundable if the client cancels the shoot.

Rescheduling requests must be made at least 7 days before the original shoot date and are subject to availability.
3. Do you provide dressing recommendations and rental outfits?

Yes! After booking, we share dressing recommendations based on the shoot theme.

We also offer rental outfit options that clients can choose from.

If a client wants to rent a specific dress that is not available in our collection, they must inform us at least 10 days before the shoot so we can pre-book it.

If they don’t pre-book within this timeframe, they must choose from the available rental options.
4. What happens just before the shoot date?

The shoot is then managed between the photographer and the client on location.
• Due to unpredictable weather and changing accessibility in mountain areas, final shoot locations will be confirmed 1–2 days prior to the shoot. This allows our team to select the most suitable, safe, and visually appealing locations available at that time. Clients are expected to trust our expertise in ensuring the best outcome within the agreed package.
5. When and how should I complete the payment?

A 30% advance payment is required to confirm the booking.

After the shoot is completed, the remaining 90% payment must be made before we proceed with the post-production process. In case of only photo packages, complete 100% payment needs to be made
6. When will I receive my raw images?

Raw images will be provided after the second payment is made.

Once the payment is received, we will inform the client when the raw image link is uploaded, usually within 2-3 days.
7. When will I receive my edited images?

Edited images will be delivered within 10-12 days after the raw images are provided.
8. When will I receive my final edited video?

The edited video will be delivered within one month from the shoot date or from the date of the 90% payment—whichever comes later. Final deliverable date to be provided by team in accordance to project & prior discussion with client
9. How does the video editing process work?

We will inform the client when the video editing process starts.

If they have specific requests (such as a preferred song), they must provide them before editing begins.

If they don’t provide a song, we will choose one that best complements the video.
10. Can I choose my own song for the video?

Yes, but we highly recommend leaving the song selection to our editors as they know what fits best.

11. Is it better to choose a song before the shoot?

12. What is your creative control and editing policy?

World Through Lens Photography reserves the right to exercise creative judgment in capturing and editing photographs.

The client acknowledges that the style and quality of photographs may vary based on factors like lighting conditions and location.
13. Do you offer photo manipulation or heavy retouching in your edits?
• Our photo editing process includes only basic enhancements such as color correction, exposure adjustments, cropping, skin tone balancing, and light retouching. We do not offer or support photo manipulation, such as body reshaping, background swaps, or altering physical features.

14. What is the timeline for photo and video delivery?
• Our minimum delivery timelines are:
* Photos: Minimum 10 working days
* Videos: Minimum 21 working days
Please note that final delivery timelines vary depending on the nature and scale of each project and will be clearly communicated by our team after the shoot. If faster delivery is needed, expedited services may be available at an additional charge and must be discussed in advance.
15. Can I ask for changes in the edited photos or videos?
• Yes, we allow one round of corrections for both photo and video edits.
However, in videos, timeline-related edits (e.g., song change, scene sequence changes, or altering sync) are not permitted. Only minor adjustments that do not impact the song timeline or flow may be considered. We strongly discourage client-led interference that may compromise the creative output. We work best with creative freedom, which helps us deliver the highest quality results.
16. What if I don't like the final output?
• Our work is a product of professional experience, subject to real-time conditions like lighting, locations, and spontaneity of moments. Once the final deliverables are shared, no refunds will be provided based on personal preferences or subjective dissatisfaction.
We expect full payment as per the agreed schedule, and any attempt to withhold or deny pending payments may lead to legal action for recovery.
17. How do I book your services?
• Clients book us after reviewing our portfolio and style. Once booked, we expect clients to trust our professional experience and artistic process. Photography is a creative art, not a templated service, and while we consider client suggestions, we do not guarantee exact results. Each project is unique, and we use our creative judgment to craft the best possible outcome.
18. Can I request changes to my video after editing?

One round of minor revisions (such as sequence adjustments) is included.

Major changes (like song replacement or complete re-editing) are not included unless agreed upon beforehand.
19. How long do I have to request revisions?

Clients must submit any minor change requests within 5 days of receiving the edited video.

After this period, the project will be considered closed, and further revisions will not be possible.
20. Do you provide raw footage?

Raw photos (.jpeg) are provided along the package, Raw videos are not included in the package but can be purchased separately for an additional cost. Any other request needs to be informed prior, at the time of booking
16. How long will my files be stored?

Edited photos and videos will be stored for 30 days from the final delivery date.

Please download and back up your files within this period, as we will not be responsible for lost data after this timeframe.
17. Can I get an urgent delivery of my photos or videos?

Yes! Urgent delivery is available for an additional fee as follows:

Photo edits within 5 days of selection: ₹1,500

18. Can World Through Lens use my photos and videos for promotions?

Yes, we reserve the right to use selected photos and videos for portfolio, social media, and promotional purposes.
